Aggravated Assault
On Tuesday, November 29th, 2016, University of Iowa Police received a report of an assault. The victim told police they arrived at the Hawkeye Storage/Commuter Lot between 9 and 9:30 p.m. on the Cambus. The victim reported they were hit from behind as they approached their car. The victim believes they were attacked by one person, but the attack may have been interrupted by another person. The victim did not see the attacker. After the brief assault, the suspect(s) ran away.
